ABOUT NANTWICH AND DISTRICT RDA

Nantwich and District RDA Group
Nantwich and District RDA Group serves the area surrounding Nantwich in Cheshire East. We are part of the North West RDA Region which covers Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and the Isle of Man. We have an ongoing programme of fundraising and gathering volunteers together to develop our Group, based at Reaseheath Equestrian Centre.
At Nantwich & District Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), we believe in the life-changing power of horses. For children and adults with disabilities, our horses are more than companions—they are healers, teachers, and friends. Through therapeutic riding, we offer individuals the chance to experience freedom, joy, and confidence that many never thought possible. Our dedicated team of volunteers and gentle, specially trained horses work together to create a safe and welcoming space where riders can thrive. Each session is designed not only to improve physical strength but also to nurture emotional well-being and foster deep connections. We are a community of hope, healing, and empowerment.

We rely on voluntary help, donations and legacies to deliver our services.

About the National Riding for the Disabled Charity
At RDA, our horses and ponies provide therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabilities all over the UK. Our network of 450 volunteer Groups organise activities such as riding, carriage driving, vaulting, showjumping and hippotherapy nationally for up to 25,000 people each year. This is all made possible by 13,750 volunteers, 1,700 qualified coaches and 2,800 horses.
We have been carrying out our life-changing activities for over 40 years, and take great pride in the exceptional standard of our instructors and volunteers.

We offer activities for all age groups and, wherever possible, to people with any disability – and you’re just as likely to find an RDA Group in an urban setting as a rural one.
