WELCOME TO THE NANTWICH & DISTRICT RDA GROUP
Nantwich and District Riding for the Disabled Group was formed to serve the area surrounding Nantwich in Cheshire East. Our new purpose built stables are at Reaseheath Equestrian Centre on the outskirts of Nantwich.
We provide a full array of riding experiences and social activities. We welcome riders and volunteers of all ages and experience with full training given by our dedicated team.

Nantwich & District Riding for the Disabled Group is based at:
The Equestrian Centre
Reaseheath College
Nantwich, Cheshire, CW5 6DF
For more information, please contact Sheila Saner.
Riding sessions on the ponies take place on Thursday afternoons in the spacious indoor arena from 4pm. Occasionally these sessions may be run on a different day if circumstances change, so please contact admin@nantwichrda.org to find out more.
One to one riding sessions on the mechanical horse 'Flicka' take place at Reaseheath College Equestrian Centre usually on Tuesday afternoons from 3pm, by invitation only.
We have a waiting list for potential new riders and hope to introduce new sessions this year.
All our sessions are a great opportunity for volunteers and participants to get together for riding and social interaction.

Many congratulations to our rider, Anna, who is from the Ukraine. She has been awarded the "Salt of the Earth" Award, by Nantwich Town Council.
Well done Anna, well deserved.

We held a Coronation Celebration ride with all our riders in formation as part of a cavalry march complete with a salute. there was also a fly-by in a 'v' formation with everyone taking turns to get in line. A procession outside through the stable yard allowed all the riders to hear the horses' feet on a hard surface , which they never usually experience. At the end, everyone went home with a commemorative rosette to mark this very special occasion.

Why not come and visit us at one of our wonderful sessions? We're riding in the indoor arena most Thursday afternoons.
Have a cup of tea with us and meet the riders - you will be made very welcome!

A mum's message
"My daughter has been riding with RDA Nantwich & District Group for the past year and her confidence has increased tremendously during this time.
I am so grateful to Sheila and the team for understanding her disability and allowing her to succeed beyond our wildest dreams. Spending time with the ponies has built her confidence as well as providing much needed physical exercise.
We have been amazed at the improvement in her mobility in such a short time. Her balance, core strength and flexibility are obvious to all. Her wonderful smile says it all - THANK YOU!"

Donating
Nantwich & District RDA Group has a busy fund-raising programme and we always enter for any award scheme available in the hope of winning! We are grateful for the support of local businesses and individuals who continue to help us to achieve our goals.
The running costs for RDA Nantwich & District are mainly for our ponies, stabling and livery as we have no employed staff. Without funding we cannot exist. Donations truly make a difference to our ponies' wellbeing and our ability to function successfully.
We have benefitted from several fantastic schemes for Local Charities and we are so very grateful to have been accepted.

Our wonderful sponsors
We are constantly overwhelmed by the help, generosity and support received from local organisations and individuals.

We currently have six ponies and two that we borrow for our sessions. We have been blessed and fortunate to have a new dedicated RDA stable block built with thanks to a local businessman Phil Keogh. His enthusiasm and innovative ideas, as well as his team's hard work and support, have enabled us to have a state of the art, self-contained RDA yard so our horses can be together in complete comfort and luxury.
