WELCOME TO THE NANTWICH & DISTRICT RDA GROUP
Nantwich and District Riding for the Disabled Group was formed to serve the area surrounding Nantwich in Cheshire East. Our new purpose built stables are at Reaseheath Equestrian Centre on the outskirts of Nantwich.
We provide a full array of riding experiences and social activities. We welcome riders and volunteers of all ages and experience with full training given by our dedicated team.
Riding sessions on the ponies take place on Thursday afternoons in the spacious indoor arena from 4pm. Occasionally these sessions may be run on a different day if circumstances change, so please contact admin@nantwichrda.org to find out more.
One to one riding sessions on the mechanical horse 'Philly' take place at Reaseheath College Equestrian Centre usually on Tuesday afternoons from 3pm, by invitation only.
We have a waiting list for potential new riders and hope to introduce new sessions this year.
All our sessions are a great opportunity for volunteers and participants to get together for riding and social interaction.
We welcome visitors to come along for a chat and a cup of tea - you will enjoy watching the fun we have!

We wouldn't exist if it were not for our wonderful band of trusty volunteers, who attend regularly with enthusiasm and joy.
We currently have six ponies and two that we borrow for our sessions. We have been blessed and fortunate to have a new dedicated RDA stable block built with thanks to a local businessman Phil Keogh. His enthusiasm and innovative ideas, as well as his team's hard work and support, have enabled us to have a state of the art, self-contained RDA yard so our horses can be together in complete comfort and luxury.

Our most recent team member is Philly - the mechanical horse, with the ability to mimic precisely most of the movements of a real horse. Philly is able to offer beneficial muscle strengthening and core building exercise to riders who may need a little more encourage-ment before mounting a real horse, or those who need extra tuition.
Our wonderful sponsors
We are constantly overwhelmed by the help, generosity and support received from local organisations and individuals.
